http://www.fivealarmfitness.comI became a gym owner because I saw how much diet and exercise had transformed my life and wanted to do the same for others. When I first started Five Alarm with my husband, our mission was simply to create a family friendly environment for people to learn about health & fitness. Selfishly, we wanted our kids to grow up around strong role models. Over the last 9 years, our mission hasn’t changed so much as it’s grown. We’ve grown. We’ve continued to dive deeper into coaching styles, to nutrition, to the world in general and how our current environment shapes our nation’s health crisis. Our mission is still to create that same environment for people, but we’re much bolder in our approach. We know that change is uncomfortable and that not everyone is going to be ready to join us. But for those who are, we want them to give them the tools to change their lives and the lives of those they come in contact with. We want to do hard things with good people and leave our community and our world better than it was before us.
