Greg Glassman
Co-founder of The Broken Science Initiative and Founder of CrossFit Greg has broadened his focus from the science of fitness and nutrition to the larger issues in science. Greg will introduce the audience to probability theory and plausible reasoning as the best way to understand what science is and what it is not.
Emily Kaplan
Co-founder of the Broken Science Initiative (BSI), Emily will discuss the critical impact of scientific misconduct and statistical manipulation in healthcare. Her talk aims to empower attendees to reclaim their influence in shaping medical science. She will also outline how BSI is tackling the chronic disease epidemic in a clinically significant manner with its societies and academies.
Professor Thomas Seyfried, Ph.D.
A professor at Boston College, Dr. Seyfried will present an alternative hypothesis on cancer as a metabolic disease, drawing on his extensive research into metabolic therapy’s role in managing chronic diseases.
Dr. Christopher M. Palmer
Renowned Harvard psychiatrist, Dr. Palmer will share insights from his pioneering research on the metabolic basis of mental disorders, showcasing his approach to understanding and treating mental health through metabolic therapy.
