What is the ODPS Climb Challenge?
For those unfamiliar, the ODPS 9-11 Climb is physical fitness event organized in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Public Safety and local boxes all across Ohio. The event is held to honor the 412 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in the wake of September 11th.
41 minutes and 20 seconds of physical movement that you choose in honor of the 412 first responders that lost their lives on 9-11.
The Standard workout is:
In 41:20 perform as many rounds and reps as possible (AMRAP) of –
100 stairs/steps/box step ups (20″)
20 burpees
30 sit ups
40 Lunges/ air squats

You can participate at your local box, at home, or contact your local first responders to partner with them. While the standard workout is recommended, you can participate and scale in any way you see fit.
