http://www.crossfitvinita.comI am only interested in fixing folks that are broken. My experience has proven that once we start to improve the physical the emotional and spiritual soon follow. But to improve the physical we need to know much more than how to teach a squat. We need to empathetically educate our clients to the root cause of their plight. My 32 years in recovery give me an insight that allows me to address the addiction that is quietly and directly afflicting them. When i'm told that there is not an addiction problem I'll ask how often they run to the store cause they're out of Oreo's or Coke as opposed to being out of broccoli then I'll connect it back to my lived experience. We get into the medications they're on and whether or not they are helping or merely assisting them to the deaths. I do not coach harshly but I do implore a level on honesty that is often uncomfortable but very much respected.
