Dr. Christina Prevett is a pelvic floor physiotherapist and postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Alberta, where she studies exercise and pelvic floor health during pregnancy. She holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from McMaster University and has over 10 years of clinical experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals.
Christina is also the founder of The Barbell Mamas, an online platform and podcast dedicated to helping women train safely and effectively through motherhood. As a mother of two and competitive strength athlete, she brings a powerful blend of evidence, empathy, and lived experience to her work—challenging outdated narratives around movement in pregnancy.
