Preparation
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef (6 oz), ground cumin (1 tsp), minced garlic (1 clove), chopped parsley (1 Tbsp), salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well and shape into a patty.
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place Swiss cheese (1 slice) on top and cover until melted.
In a small pan over medium heat, melt butter (1 tsp). Add sliced red onion (½ small) and cook until soft and slightly caramelized, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
Place baby spinach (¼ cup) on a plate. Top with the grilled burger patty, followed by sauerkraut (2 Tbsp), sautéed onions, and chipotle mayo.
Serve.
The email reveals concerns about the direction and management of certain research projects, suggesting potential misallocation of funds and lack of transparency. Hossenfelder discusses the implications of these claims, emphasizing the need for accountability and openness in publicly funded scientific endeavors. She also highlights the challenges whistleblowers face when bringing such issues to light.
