Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

While preheating, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it is crispy enough to be broken into pieces.

Lightly grease a baking dish and place the bell pepper half cut side up.

In a bowl, mix the cooked ground turkey, with cream cheese, chives, spinach, bacon, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spoon the turkey mixture into the pepper half and carefully crack the egg over the mixture in the pepper. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the egg is set to your preference.

Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with chopped cilantro and bacon bits before serving.

This 2015 editorial argues that while regular physical activity does reduce the risk of diseases like cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, dementia, and some cancers by at least 30%, it does not promote significant weight loss—placing the blame for the obesity epidemic squarely on poor diet rather than inactivity

In essence: you can’t outrun a bad diet—exercise is essential for health, but meaningful weight control depends primarily on the quality and composition of what you eat.
