Preparation
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter (1 Tbsp) for the beef. Add the ground beef (6 oz), season with garlic powder (½ tsp), onion powder (½ tsp), salt, and pepper, and cook for 4–5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat if needed and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the full-fat ricotta cheese (¼ cup) with grated Parmesan cheese (1 Tbsp), chopped fresh parsley (1 Tbsp), chopped fresh basil (1 Tbsp), garlic powder (½ tsp), and a pinch of salt and pepper to create the herbed ricotta.
Return the beef to low heat if needed and spoon the herbed ricotta over the top. Cover and warm gently for 1–2 minutes until the ricotta is soft and slightly warmed through but still creamy.
Serve the herbed ricotta beef hot, optionally garnished with extra fresh herbs.
