Scores of papers by Eliezer Masliah, prominent neuroscientist and top NIH official, fall under suspicion. Many of Masliah’s studies are riddled with falsified Western blots images, used to identify proteins in brain tissue.

It’s astounding how one dishonest researcher can do so much damage in taking a whole field down the wrong path.
